Blacksmith’s workshop · Kėdainiai, Lithuania

Forged by hand.
Made for a century.

Gates, railings, lighting and fireplace tools. Each one forged in the fire, by hand, in a single workshop.

The smith

14 years
at the forge

Tadas learned to forge from his grandfather, whose anvil still stands in the corner of the workshop. His work brings old Lithuanian ornament together with clean, modern lines.

Every piece is forged by hand, with no stamping and no copies. That is why no two gates are ever the same.

How an order comes to life

  1. 01

    A conversation

Tell me what you need: the place, the size, the style. A photo or a sketch on a napkin is fine.

  2. 02

    A sketch

I draw one or two options, and we go through the details and materials together.

  3. 03

    Price and date

You get an exact price and a finish date in writing before any work starts.

  4. 04

    Forging and fitting

I send photos as it takes shape, then we deliver and fit the finished piece.

“The gate looks as if it has always stood here. The neighbours keep asking who made it.”
